LEGO Friends Christmas Show

LEGOLAND California Resort

I conceived and led the development of a holiday adaptation of LEGOLAND California’s popular LEGO Friends live show, transforming the existing production into a festive Christmas experience for the resort’s holiday season.

From initial concept through opening, I served as the project’s primary creative and production lead. I developed the concept, wrote the script, arranged the music, directed the production, supported the scenic design process, and led casting. In addition, I continued in my role as Entertainment Manager, overseeing the broader live entertainment operation throughout the show’s run.

A key part of the development process involved partnering closely with the LEGO Group to ensure the production remained authentic to the LEGO Friends brand. I guided the show through the required approval process, securing sign-off on the concept, script, costumes, and scenic design while balancing brand standards with the operational and creative needs of a live theme park production.

The project was delivered from concept to opening and became a popular addition to LEGOLAND California’s holiday entertainment lineup. Its success led to the production returning for many years as part of the resort’s seasonal programming.
