For SeaWorld San Diego’s first-ever Howl-O-Scream, an after-hours Halloween event created specifically for an adult audience, I played a key role in the creative development and execution of the event’s live entertainment and scare experiences.

I collaborated on the development of the event’s scare zones, atmosphere characters, and overall entertainment environment, helping establish the tone and theatrical language for this new seasonal offering.

My primary creative focus was The Gathering, the event’s opening ceremony. I conceived the original concept, wrote the script, arranged the music, led casting, and directed the production from development through opening. Designed to launch the evening and introduce guests to the world of Howl-O-Scream, The Gathering combined live performance, atmosphere characters, music, and theatrical storytelling to set the tone for the experience ahead.

Following the creative development and launch, I served as Entertainment Operations Manager throughout the event, overseeing the ongoing execution of the live entertainment experience and helping maintain performance, operational, and creative standards across the run.
