Mission Control

P&O Cruises

As Entertainment Innovation Manager for P&O Cruises, I played a leading creative role in the development of Mission Control, an immersive, story-driven submarine adventure designed to combine live performance, interactive puzzles, environmental storytelling, and guest participation.

The attraction was developed in partnership with German experiential design company Tennagels, with whom I worked closely on story development, puzzle integration, creative direction, and the overall guest journey. I helped shape the narrative and operational flow of the experience, ensuring that the storytelling, technical elements, performer interactions, and gameplay worked together as one cohesive attraction.

I created the two live performance roles at the heart of the experience — the Captain and Lab Assistant — and developed their characters, scripts, and interactions with guests. I also led casting, directed the performers, designed the uniforms, and helped define how the live actors integrated with the attraction’s story and operational structure.

From initial development through launch, my role spanned both creative direction and practical implementation, helping bring an ambitious new form of immersive entertainment to life onboard P&O Cruises. I continue to provide ongoing creative oversight for the venue, maintaining the integrity of the story, performance standards, and guest experience as the attraction continues to operate.
